Brief summary: This book is less of a story, and set up more like a comic strip. It goes through what emotions you might feel when your parents get divorce and what things might happen. It reassures the readers that their parents love them no matter what and the divorce is not their fault. The beginning of the book has a glossary of what terms they might hear such as attorney, custody, etc.

Activity: Ask the student if they have experienced any of the situations that are talked about in the book. Talk to the student about how they felt during that situation and talk about how they can deal with other situations when they happen.

Ask the child to pick one thing from the dinosaur's experience that is the same as his/her own experience, and one thing that is different. Elicit responses about how these things make the child feel and use it as a springboard for a discussion of both the good/fun things that came about because of the divorce as well as the bad/scary things that have happened/are happening because of the divorce.
