About This Database
This is an ongoing database of children's books that are useful when working with children and families who are experiencing crisis. This list was originally created by university students working on advanced degrees, in partial completion for a crisis intervention course. You may add books to this blog by using the template below and emailing your submission to zoopified@gmail.com.
Age Group Levels
Please use the following labels when stating the target age level so it makes the search feature more useful. If you have made previous posts, please edit them using the following terms:
Pre-K for ages 1-4
Lower Elementary for ages 5-8
Upper Elementary for ages 9-12
Junior High for ages 13-15
High School for ages 15-18
Young Adult for ages 19-24
Adult for ages 25+
Pre-K for ages 1-4

Upper Elementary for ages 9-12
Junior High for ages 13-15
High School for ages 15-18
